Introduction to ISO 20121

This module will give you an insight in to the ISO 20121 Event Sustainability Management System and the key steps that you will take when implementing ISO 20121. 

What is ISO 20121? 

From the International Organization for Standardisation (ISO), ISO 20121 is a framework which can help you to make your events more sustainable. The steps of ISO 20121 allow you to create a management system, which is a way to formalise your ways of working around sustainability. 

To implement ISO 20121, you will go through a number of stages including identifying what aspects of sustainability are most relevant for your organisation, setting objectives, communicating internally and externally and finally measuring and reviewing your results.
