Course Introduction

After completing this course, you will understand how to embed sustainability into your events and make it part of your ways of working, not just an add-on. 

The course begins with an introduction to sustainability, which will allow you to become familiar with the key concepts and terminologies. This will enhance your skills for communicating the essentials that your team, management and suppliers need to know about sustainability. You will also gain an awareness of the different national, regional and brand led sustainability standards including APEX and ASTM.

We then look in more depth at how you can identify the areas of sustainability that are right for your organisation, and then set targets to achieve your sustainability goals.
